The Crimson Robe is a play written by Nuri in 1982 which gained him the best play award at Fajr Theater Festival in 1984. Fajr Theater Festival is Iran’s main stage contest.
The Crimson Robe is the story of two characters: The Self and The Lover who accompany each other in the journey within human’s thought. In their journey they face various abstract obstacles each represented in the form of a character.
